Care Worker – No Experience Required
 
The role will involve:
Providing personal care and support to clients including washing, bathing and toileting
Prompting and administering medication
Meal preparation
Light household tasks
Shopping

Requirements:
Current member of the PVG scheme or willing to register
Ability to work flexible hours
Be reliable
Have a 'can do' attitude
Fully licenced driver and car owner preferred
Have a passion to make a difference

Qualification:
SVQ/NVQ in Social Service and Healthcare (desirable)

 
Care Co-ordinator/Quality Assurance Officer
 
Requirements/Experience:
At least one years’ experience working within a care environment
Good organisational ability/skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good planning and multi-tasking ability
Good understanding of SSSC Codes of Practice and National Care Standards
Ability to handle organisational change
Must hold a full driving licence and have access to own car
Effective team player
Ability to cope under pressure
Flexible and reliable

Qualification:
SVQ/NVQ in Social Service and Healthcare (desirable)

Responsibilities:
Liaise with all Service Users regarding assessments and review requirements and arrangements
Conducting Service User reviews
To carry out in Service User Homes quality checks and monitoring visits
To report to the Quality Assurance Manager/Office Manager on a weekly basis on activity levels and outcomes for Service Users
Assist the Quality Assurance Manager/Office Manager with complaints management
Understand and work within the regulatory framework of the Care Inspectorate
Undertake care provision duties as and when required (including mornings, evenings and weekends)
To comply with the policies and procedures of the organisation
To assist in the day-to-day operation of the business, involving contact with Service Users, Care Workers, Social Services and other professionals
Undertake on call and back up duties for both week-days and weekends
