Governance & Professional Standards

We operate within a clear governance framework to ensure accountability, consistency and effective management of our services.

This includes:

  • Compliance with Care Inspectorate requirements

  • Adherence to SSSC Codes of Practice

  • Membership standards set by the Homecare Association and Scottish Care

  • Clear policies and procedures that guide how care is delivered

Strong leadership and oversight ensure that services are well-managed and continuously reviewed.

Safeguarding & Protection

Safeguarding is a core priority at Primecare Health Ltd. We have robust adult support and protection procedures in place to ensure individuals are protected from harm, neglect or abuse.

All staff receive safeguarding training and are supported to recognise, report and respond to concerns appropriately. We operate a zero-tolerance approach to abuse and take all concerns seriously.

Staff Recruitment, Training & Supervision

High-quality care depends on skilled, supported staff.

All team members are recruited through safe recruitment practices, including appropriate checks such as PVG Scheme membership and SSSC registration where required. Staff complete a full induction programme and receive ongoing training relevant to their role.

Regular supervision and performance review ensure staff are supported, competent and able to maintain high standards of practice.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

We monitor and review the quality of our services through regular audits, supervision, service reviews and feedback from individuals and families.

Learning from feedback and inspection outcomes helps us identify improvements and implement action plans that enhance the quality of care delivered.

Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

Primecare Health Ltd is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion. We respect each individual’s identity, beliefs and preferences and deliver care in a non-discriminatory and inclusive way.

Our Commitment to You
